How to build a good female literary friendship

For Episode 65, we have two special guests, Emily Midorikawa and Emma Claire Sweeney. Emily and Emma are writers and friends who co-wrote A Secret Sisterhood: The literary friendships of Jane Austen, Charlotte Bronte, George Eliot and Virginia Woolf. They also co-run the fantastic blog about female literary friendship and collaboration, SomethingRhymed.com.

We loved talking to them about how to tackle a big project and stay friends, as well as how literary women have always managed ambition and jealousy in their friendships – and how Emma and Emily have dealt with these things. We loved talking to these honest, smart and literary women.
