Episode 75: Tasha Harrison and Kate Newburg of Lady Books podcast

Today’s episode was one of the most fun conversations to record (we say that every time, but seriously, y’all, we mean it). We’ve had Tasha Harrison on before, way back in episode 59, and are happy to have her back with her podcasting and writing BFF, Kate Newburg. Kate and Tasha are in the middle of season 2 of their fantastic Lady Books podcast. Kate describes their approach as a concept album, where each season is self-contained and totally different, and definitely worth adding to your listening line-up.

Since the album title for our current season would be Friendship, we of course talk friendship with Tasha and Kate. We go from their origin story, to how to make writing and friendship work together, to digging into the craft of portraying friendship on the page.

Tasha is the author of romance and erotica, including the forthcoming A Taste of Her own Medicine, and a freelance editor and creative entrepreneur. She’s also the creator of the writing challenge #20kin5days. You can find her online at www.tashalharrison.com, and on Twitter and Instagram @tashalharrison.

Kate is the author of the paranormal Harrow series, and a photographer and freelance cover designer. She’s also a grad student by day. You can find her online at www.katenewburg.com, and on Twitter and Instagram @katenewburg.
